BricksFanz Weekly Recap Jan 29th – Feb 4th

Fresh from the 60th anniversary celebrations of last Sunday, it’s been another eventful week. Although news coming out of the Toy Fairs has been a little light, due to the different way the LEGO® Group has approached them this year, Nuremberg has given us some interesting pieces of information. Many rumoured sets were confirmed including the Unikitty range and a heavy focus on powered play, with new Power Functions and app-controlled sets. One nice surprise announcement was a collaboration with Bugatti, which will see their car manufacturers’ Chiron model reimagined as a high-end Technic set. Elsewhere the latest LEGO Ideas set arrived, the Ship in a Bottle is a visually unique little set. We also picked our winner for the LEGO Batman Movie minifigures competition and a full set of series 2 Minifigures are winging their way to one lucky BricksFanz reader. Stay tuned for a new giveaway very soon, until then take a look back at a week gone by in BricksFanz.com.
