Late last year the awful news of a break-in at Fairy Bricks HQ made the headlines and LEGO® fans across the world banded together to help raise even more money for the excellent LEGO charity, so they could fix their damaged van and replace LEGO sets meant to be donated to sick kids in hospital, as part of the #BuildToGive campaign. One such LEGO fan was Russell Cassevah of BrainyBricks, who wanted to help raise some money for Fairy Bricks and came up with a rather intersting way of doing so. On January 21st, Russell, cheered on by his daughter CutieBricks, popped off his socks and took on the painful feat of walking over 120ft of LEGO bricks! Not only is this stroll across the bricks helping to raise money for Fairy Bricks, it is also set to become an official Guinness World Record.
If you’re as impressed by Russell’s impressive challenge then you can donate right here and help BrainyBricks hit their fund raising total and in turn help Fairy Bricks deliver more smiles. You can check out the Barefoot Brick Walk in the video below.
