BricksFanz Weekly Recap Feb 4th – 10th

This week The LEGO® Movie 2 finally arrived in cinemas, although it’s set to make a little less than the opening of the original movie, it’s currently sitting top of the box office. Elsewhere Warner Bros. made the surprise announcement of the LEGO Marvel Collection, which will bring together all three previous LEGO Marvel games into one package. This won’t be the last we’ll be seeing of past LEGO Games being brought back in collections or HD remasters. But the big news this week has been The LEGO Movie 2 BrickHeadz revealed last weekend. Since then it’s come to light that the sets are limited to 5000 pieces here and only available in two US retailers. According to the LEGO Group there are currently no plans to bring the sets to other markets. Only adding to the increasing annoying trend of regional exclusive items. It’s been advised that anyone annoyed by the situation should make their thoughts known to LEGO Customer Service, only by enough people complaining will things possibly change in the future.
