The wait is over, The LEGO® Movie 2 is now showing in cinemas. The sequel to the smash hit 2014 movie, has Emmet and friends engaging in a seemingly endless battle with the DUPLO invaders from the Systar System.This ongoing battle has turned Bricksburg into a post-apocalyptic wasteland known as Apocalypseburg. When a number of the Master Builders are kidnapped by General Sweet Mayhem, Emmet decides to travel through the Stairgate to rescue his friends and stop “Ourmomageddon”. It’s a great addition to the LEGO Movie universe, full of fun Easter Eggs, LEGO heritage and catchy tunes, but more importantly it has just as much heart as The LEGO Movie did. Once it’s been out for a while, I’ll take a spoilery look at the movie and how well the playsets fair against their onscreen appearances.
