It’s Sunday, which means it’s Weekly Recap time and it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster week in the world of LEGO®. Although there is little point going into detail, a member of the AFOL Engagement Team at LEGO recently left the company. Kim was the first person I met from the LEGO Group and allowed BricksFanz to become an officially recognized Fan Media Outlet. So I will take this moment to thank Kim for all his support of me and my website. But the world of LEGO is forever in motion so there has been plenty going on. The biggest news this week concerns the loss of Star Wars content from all LEGOLAND® parks globally. It seems many people will miss this popular element of the attraction. Plus we finally have an opening date for the much anticipated Birmingham brand store. It will open this upcoming week and I’ll be at the preview event on Wednesday night. So stay stunted for the first look at the latest UK store. But the most exciting news this week is the usual reveal of the 2020 Hidden Side sets. These expand Newbury with some great new locations and ghostly foe to battle.
