It’s time for the traditional Sunday BricksFanz Recap, and the biggest news this week is quite literally the new UCS Star Destroyer. But as big as it may be, there does appear to be an issue regarding the pricing and piece count compared to the UCS Falcon. I can see where people are coming from here and although the latest set uses a fair few larger elements, it does seem a little difficult to justify its pricing. As much as I’d love to experience it’s build, I think it will remain off my wanted list. Away from the general world of LEGO®, on Friday employees from the LEGO Group, downed tools and played for the company’s annual Play Day. A great concept which helps to show the importance of play and the essence of LEGO bricks. We may moan about the price and piece counts of sets, but we something forget the fun aspect of LEGO.
