I guess I should start by wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day. It’s been a pretty quiet week on most fronts for LEGO® news, so this week’s recap is a little thin on the ground. At least week they’ll be some new set reviews to look forward to. The biggest news this week comes from the Toy of the Year awards, which took place virtually in the US. Normally attached to the New York Fair, the TOTY awards showcase some of the best toy releases of the previous year. The LEGO Group picked up four awards, with Ideas once again proving a winning set and LEGO Super Mario doing very well. I highly recommend checking out this week’s LEGO Games Bits N’ Bricks Podcast, not only does it discuss the upcoming LEGO Ideas Sonic set, but it also offers an interesting insight into the LEGO Ideas platform.
