Royal Baby Arrives At LEGOLAND Windsor Miniland

Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the past few days, you will most likely know that a lady gave birth to a baby on Monday. In fact quite of few people gave birth on Monday, but only one has been worthy of newspaper front covers and endless news report – the Royal baby. The as unnamed new future monarch has been recreated in LEGO form along with his family. All of which can be found outside Buckingham Palace in the parks Miniland. Plus when the name of the baby is announced, if you share the name, you’ll get free entry into the park until July 19th. If Royal babies aren’t your thing, then maybe the return of LEGO Star Wars Days will be more up your street.

The pitter patter of tiny (LEGO®) feet comes to the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort as fun new Miniland installation celebrates the birth of the Prince

25 April 2018:, The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has welcomed the latest Royal baby to its world famous Miniland attraction, unveiling a new scene to celebrate the occasion just two days after the much anticipated arrival of the youngest Royal.

Giving LEGOLAND fans even more reason to rejoice at the Royal news, the Resort will also grant FREE ENTRY to anyone who shares their name with the new Prince from its announcement until 19 July 2018*

The timely installation, created by the talented LEGOLAND Model Makers, includes the tiny LEGO® Prince at just 3cm tall, along with a 55 LEGO brick pram and his birth sign announcement. The new Miniland Royal is joined by LEGO recreations of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, his new big brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and their beloved family dog, Lupo. The whole scene took Model Makers 4 hours to build and takes pride of place outside Miniland’s very own 35,000 LEGO brick Buckingham Palace.

Paula Laughton, Head Model Maker at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, commented: “We had lots of fun building the new scene to raise our very own tiny toast to the new Royal arrival. We love celebrating our Royal neighbours’ news and our guests always enjoy spotting our new additions to Miniland.”

Guests can see the new LEGO Royal as part of Miniland’s recreation of Buckingham Palace now, where it will be on display until November.

Brand new for 2018, Miniland now also includes iconic landmarks from India, Australia, China and the USA. Miniland has been a major attraction at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort since the Resort opened in 1996, and now guests can now stroll from the London to Sydney in the space of a just few minutes.
