It case you hadn’t noticed, this week the long awaited LEGO® Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set became available for LEGO VIP members. The set was released on Wednesday and supported by a special LEGO Designer signing event at the LEGO Store London. Now I keep saying it’s a highly anticipated set and I’ve not been exaggerating. People were queuing at the store from midnight, ahead of the stores opening at 10am. Then many stayed at the store until 4pm in the afternoon to get their sets signed. Social media was awash with people waiting for the set to appear online Wednesday morning and it seems LEGO realised the issues surrounding the UCS Falcon’s release and made sure there is plenty of stock of Hogwarts Castle to meet demand. In fact the success of the Harry Potter range has been incredible with stores low on stock of most sets. Plus the LEGO Minifigures series has be hugely popular.
