76349: Spider-Man Prison Transport Chase Set Review
Before we return to the MCU and herald the arrival of Dr Doom, we head to New York to reunite with its one and only, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. Peter Parker is still dealing with the spell Doctor Strange cast to help hide his identity, but that leaves him isolated from those he used to call friends. But Peter, no longer being known by those close to him, doesn’t stop various street-level villains from doing what they do...
76350: Spider-Man Vs. Hulk Epic Clash Set Review
Before Doomsday arrives, the next trip to the MCU takes us to New York, and its own friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man’s fourth solo Marvel Studios film. Brand New Day takes place four years after No Way Home. Doctor Strange’s spell means no one knows who Spider-Man is, and Peter Parker is alone. But he must still protect New York against those who threaten it. The trailer gives away very little, but it does show Dr Bruce...
76344: Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition Set Review
Thanks to Iron Man’s importance to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark’s alter ego has been the subject of numerous LEGO sets. In fact, the character has been portrayed in several different forms. We’ve been treated to Iron Man’s helmet, a mini bust, a construction figure and the bulky Hulk Buster Suit. This set sits between the mini bust and figure, offering a unique displayable version of the Mark 3 Iron Man armour. This was...
76324: Spider-Man Vs. Oscorp Set Review
The long-running and interconnected world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has yielded some interesting LEGO creations. I love the MCU and its surrounding stories, which now bring moments from the Fox and Sony universes into canon. But in my opinion, when it comes to Spider-Man, those sets not based on the movies are far more interesting. This set is a good example of that and expands the newly introduced Marvel ‘streets’...
76235: Avengers: Age Of Ultron Quinjet Set Review
Quinjets have appeared in several Marvel films and TV series. In turn, they have also appeared in quite a few LEGO® Marvel sets. Amazingly, no two LEGO Quinjets are the same and the latest offers the biggest and most detailed version to date. The ship plays a key role in Age of Ultron as the Avengers use it to chase down Ultron’s new body in downtown Seoul. The format of the set is similar to last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy...
76319: Captain America Vs. Thanos Set Review
In a world of ever-increasing sets designed for adult LEGO® fans, there are still builds for kids. The LEGO 4+ sets provide a stepping stone from DUPLO to standard LEGO sets. They offer simpler builds for younger LEGO fans to enjoy with easy-to-follow instructions, no stickers and unique Starter Bricks for many of the most popular LEGO themes. The latest wave of LEGO Marvel sets includes one 4+ set, which is inspired by Captain...
76322: Avengers: Endgame Thor Vs. Chitauri Set Review
The LEGO® Marvel theme has been in a peculiar place these last few years. Despite a steady stream of new content such as Daredevil, Fantastic 4, Thunderbolts* and animated shows like Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, the LEGO Marvel sets have mostly focused on the wider Marvel universe but mostly past endeavours. Whilst this has provided some interesting builds, it’s also continued to dwell on moments from the Infinity...
