Unikitty LEGO LEDLite Torch Review
Following the huge success of the original LEGO® Movie, it was only expected that the sequel would be supported by a wide ranging array of additional products, beyond LEGO sets. Another surprise outcome of the success of The LEGO Movie was the love shown towards the sparkles filled ex-ruler of Cloud Cuckoo Land, Unikitty. Part cat, part unicorn, Unikitty has gained a cult following, which has lead to her own TV show and range of LEGO...
Building The LEGO Disney Castle
Over the festive period, I’ve been slowly building the LEGO® Disney Castle. It’s a set I’ve admired ever since it was released in 2016. The castle is a iconic part of every single Disney theme park across the world. As a fan of the extensive collection of Disney films released over the years, I grew up with Baloo, Pinocchio and the Rescuers. As well as TV classics such as Tailspin, Chip & Dale and the legendary...
Emmet’s Thricycle! LEGO Movie 2 Set Review
It’s time for another LEGO® Movie 2 set review and we join Emmet with another of his questionable ideas – the Thricycle. As we learnt in the original LEGO movie, Emmet isn’t the most imaginative fellow. Apart from his Double Decker couch, Emmet hasn’t truly unlocked his inner Master Builder. That’s not to say he isn’t trying, but can his uniquely designed three-wheeled bike really, cut it in a world...
Star-struck Emmet LEGO Movie 2 Polybag Review
If there is one thing The LEGO® Movie 2 won’t be short of, it’s polybags. So far there have been six different promotional sets revealed in various ways. So are already available for sale in a number of US retailers and one set has been revealed as a pre-order bonus for The LEGO Movie 2 video game. I’ve managed to track down that set and here’s a closer look at it. The Star-struck Emmet polybag is based on a...
MetalBeard’s Heavy Metal Motor Trike! LEGO Movie 2 Set Review
Bricksburg has become a dusty wasteland, since the devastating events of Taco Tuesday and ongoing attack from the DUPLO® aliens, the Master Builders are doing all they can to fight back. That includes MetalBeard and his spaceship loving chum Benny. We’ve already seen that MetalBeard has a skill for becoming weird and wonderful creations. From his mech form in the original LEGO® Movie sets to his odd little crab-mech, I reviewed...
Introducing Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi LEGO Movie 2 Set Review
With Cloud Cuckoo Land destroyed by Bad Cop and the Octan Corporation Police Force in the first movie, the sequel needed an equally crazy place to unleash the limitless creation that can be built with LEGO®. That honour goes to the Systar System, a mysterious part of the galaxy ruled by Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi. This shape shifting creature may not be all she seems. Watevra Wa’Nabi appears in two sets and this is the smallest...
The LEGO Movie 2 Movie Guide Book Review
The LEGO® Movie 2 is just over 2 months away but the range of products based on it all hit the shops on Boxing Day. As well as the numerous sets available, there are also a number of books, including a handful of titles from DK Books. One of which is the impressively named The LEGO® MOVIE 2™: The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe!. For each of the LEGO Movie’s released over the last few years...
