Unikitty’s Sweetest Friends EVER! Set Review
As The LEGO® Movie 2 creeps nearer, it’s time to take a look at some more of the various LEGO sets based on the movie. Alongside the immensely popular Benny’s Space Squad set, this Unikitty themed set is one of the smallest of The LEGO Movie 2 sets. And just like that set, it’s also a great way to add characters to your collection. Unikitty is used to some pretty colourful characters but even she is surprised by the...
Sewer Babies Accessory Pack Set Review
When the new baby figure was introduced a couple of years ago, it delighted many LEGO® fans. But that delight paled in comparison to a band of wasteland dwelling infants, lovingly known as the Sewer Babies. They only appear briefly on screen in the movie, but they have definitely made an impact, with many eager to see them appear in physical form. They were absent from the first wave of sets, including the epic Welcome To...
Welcome To Apocalypseburg! Set Review
After the DUPLO® invasion, Bricksburg has become a shell of its former self. Many of the residents of this once vibrant city now live in the wastelands dubbed Apocalypseburg. The center of which is a ramshackled citadel. Welcome To Apocalypseburg! is the first direct to customer set based on The LEGO® Movie 2 and what an epic set it is. Inspired by the classic apocalyptic image of a fallen Statue of Liberty, the 3000 plus piece set is...

Just before Christmas I featured a personalised LEGO® book from Penwizard, in which you could create your own minifigure and have it featured in your very own one-of-kind Search-and-find book. The guys at Penwizard have since been in touch to see if I’ll like to take a look at one of the books. They have kindly created the LEGO City: Where’s Adam? book which will not only provides a valuable resource should I ever go...
76127: Captain Marvel & The Skrull Attack Set Review
The End (game) is near but before over 10 years of Marvel movies cumulates in next Avengers movie, the MCU is set to don a shell suit and rave about Push Pops once more, in the 90s based Captain Marvel movie. Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with...
LEGO FORMA Add-on Skins Review
As well as the standard LEGO® FORMA set, three additional add-on skins were also made available via Indiegogo. These could be purchased individually or as part of the LEGO FORMA Super Pack. The three skins include the colourful Splash Koi, the muted Ink Koi and something a little different a shark. Each Skin pack comes in a carded envelope, which is a little unusual for a LEGO product, but I quite like that they haven’t been...
81000: LEGO FORMA Set Review
In September last year, the LEGO Group teamed up with crowd-sourcing platform Indiegogo to launch a new product concept. LEGO® FORMA is a set aimed squarely at adults. Not necessarily AFOLs, but adults in general. The idea being that more and more adults are turning to tactile activities they can do to unwind and relax. FORMA doesn’t introduce a new build system as such, but a new way to interact with LEGO to a create an...
