BricksFanz Weekly LEGO Recap March 31st – April 6th

It’s been another interesting week for LEGO® news. We entered a new month and that means new LEGO releases. Three big sets arrive this month with the latest The Lord of the Rings set proving popular. Tomorrow will see the latest LEGO Ideas set arrive early for LEGO Insiders. It will also be joined by another exclusive GWP set. As it’s April, we were also treated to some April Fools hijinks and if you didn’t guess, Mr Gold hasn’t made a return through the Create-A-Minifigure BETA. Fellow LEGO Fan Media sites also joined in the fun with some impressive pranks. On the subject of other LEGO news sites, many of them are respectful of each other, offering credit where necessary. However, there are two UK-based sites which continue to post articles based on those I’ve written, with no credit. One particular site has even chosen to ‘Post’ the exact same articles as BricksFanz, even using images I’ve created. BricksFanz is not the source of all LEGO news, but I do not appreciate my work being used by others. If my content is good enough to copy, then credit it. I’ve also resurrected the BricksFanz Reddit page, so you can follow the latest LEGO news there as well.
