New LEGO Revealed At The New York Toy Fair

It’s Toy Fair time once again as the New York event kicks off today. After London and Germany events, this is the only showcase to allow photography, which means the first look at many of the upcoming new sets from LEGO®. A number of fellow websites are attending the event and sharing images these include Jedi News, BrickJournal, BZPower and Zusammengebaut. I’ll update the articles as and when new images or details are revealed. We’ve already seen the upcoming Jurassic World and Hidden Side sets, but expect to see more on Toy Story 4, Star Wars and other secrets throughout the day. Make sure you head over to the site named above and follow their social media feeds for even more LEGO Toy Fair news.

Toy Story 4

The LEGO Toy Story 4 range will be released under the newly named 4+ range, which was previously known as Juniors. Although these sets are billed as easy-to-build thanks to a number of special elements, the sets still contain plenty of system pieces including a number of Minifigures.

Star Wars

Along with the 20th Anniversary Sets, there will be a number of other sets mainly based on the new animated TV show Star Wars Resistance. Packing for the 20th Anniversary is nice and retro and it also reveals that the special classic Minifigures can be connected together as a nice display piece.

Hidden Side

This brand new story theme will blend physical sets with a new AR app. Although there is a load of concern about the connection to smartphones, the sets are bursting with detail and play features on their own.
