London 2021 Toy Fair Cancelled

The 2021 London Toy Fair has officially be canned and furthermore, it will not be replaced with a digital alternative or an event later on in the year. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the organisers of the event has chosen to completely cancel the event. It’s the first time the event will not be held in 66 years, but it will hopefully return in 2022. The LEGO Group has attended the event most years and although they are extremely secretive about what’s on show there, not allowing videos, images or even descriptions to be reported, it was the first chance for many to see what new LEGO® products were coming throughout the year. The cancellation of the London Toy Fair follows news of both the New York and German Toy Fairs moving from the start of the year into Summer 2021. Is it time LEGO start to hold their own online product showcase, similar to HasCon or DC FanDome? Learn more about the London Toy Fair cancellation on ToyNews.
