Towards the end of last year a Star Wars themed LEGO® pod was due to be given away during a LEGO Star Wars event, but as the promotion neared, the LEGO Group revealed that the pod had been pulled due to quality issues. However the recently released LEGO US Store Calendar has revealed the Vader Pod will be returning. Just like when Anakin Skywalker was pulled from the lava by the Emperor and rebuilt into Vader, the Vader Pod has been tweaked and will be given away in the US, between April 13th to May 3rd, oddly just before the annual May the 4th event begins. This pod joins those themed around LEGO Friends, NEXO KNIGHTS, NINJAGO and The LEGO Batman Movie, we took at closer look at some of them here.
