LEGO Gromit Makes Cracking Amount For Charity

Earlier this year the LEGO Group created a large-scale brick-built Gromit for Aardman Animations Grand Appeal charity. Since the Gromit Unleashed 2 trail ended, many the statues created for it have been put up for auction. This took place last week and the LEGO® ‘Cracking Build Gromit’ was snapped up for an incredible £22,000 ($28,000). With every penny going towards the ED at Bristol Children Hospital. LEGO Gromit was made with over 30,000 bricks, and took a team of five talented LEGO Master Builders over 120 hours to design and build. Now some lucky bidder owes this unique LEGO build and in turn the money raised will go on to do great thing for those who need it at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
