Fancy Owning The Brick-Built LEGO Gromit Statue

Back in July the LEGO Group were one of the many creators tasked with creating a Gromit statue for Aardman Animations charity The Grand Appeal. A series of Wallace & Gromit statues were created and placed around Bristol, with all proceeds from the event going to the Bristol Children’s Hospital. LEGO® created a cracking brick-built version of Gromit from LEGO bricks. The ‘Gromit Unleashed 2’ charity trail has now ended and the statues are being auctioned off tomorrow, including the Cracking Build Gromit statue created by LEGO. LEGO Gromit was made with over 30,000 bricks, and took a team of five talented LEGO Master Builders over 120 hours to design and build. Now is your chance to own the unique LEGO build for yourself, the auction takes place tomorrow and you can also bid online right here. At the time of writing there are two bids, with the total currently sitting at a reasonable £1000.
