LEGO DC Super-Villains Gameplay Footage

TT Games have been doing the rounds at E3 to show off LEGO® DC Super-Villains. Last night Arthur Parsons sat down with IGN to show off some Gameplay and the much anticipated villain character creator. As we’ve previously mentioned, this isn’t the first time a LEGO game has let you create a character, but it is the first time your creation has played a key role in the story. After breaking out of prison, you’ll be greeted with a file, that will let you construct your digital Minifigure. You can really go to town here, as the level of tweaking is immense. Once you’ve settled on your bad guy or gal, they will appear not only as a playable character but also in cutscenes, throughout the game. As you play through levels, you’ll be able to absorb energy which will offer you new super powers. Even these can be customised, by being placed on certain parts of your character. The game will of course feature numerous DC characters, will TT Games delving deep into the back catalogue of crims to feature in the game. A few characters were shown off or mentioned including Clayface, Cheetah, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Joker, Killer Frost, Lex Luthor, Mercy Graves, Reverse Flash, Solomon Grundy and Granny Goodness. Many of these will also be voices by some pretty big names, and although not confirmed, Mr J sounds an awful lot like Mark Hamill.
