LEGO Big Builds: Honda Civic Type R

There seems to be a trend of recreating large-scale various cars with LEGO® bricks and the latest car manufacturer to join in the fun is Honda. To celebrate the debut of LEGO MASTERS on Australian TV this weekend, Honda Australia have built their Honda Civic Type R vehicle with over 320,000 LEGO pieces. It took a team of nine people around 1,300 hours to assemble and features working elements like lights, which are controlled via an iPad. This is the latest car to become an oversized LEGO set, recently McLaren created a McLaren Senna and last year a drivable Bugatti Chiron was created by a team at LEGO. LEGO MASTERS Australia begins this weekend on Channel 9.
