How The Drivable LEGO Technic Bugatti Was Built

Yesterday the LEGO Group revealed their most ambitious builds ever – a full sized, drivable recreation of the Bugatti Chiron, made from LEGO® Technic elements. But piecing together over a million elements and over 2300 motors isn’t as easy as opening a few bags and following the instructions. The build took a team of LEGO Technic Designers and expert builders from LEGO Kladno, over 13,000 hours to develop and construct. With the final vehicle containing over 1,000,000 LEGO elements in total, with around 339 types of LEGO Technic elements used. The total weight of the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron weighed in at 1500 kg and not a single drop of glue was used in the assembly. We’ve already taken a brief look at how this incredible creation was built but now a behind the scenes video has been released, which really shows just how much work went into building the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron for real. Set 42083: Bugatti Chiron is available now.
