LEGO Big Builds: Harry Potter Ford Anglia

Towards the end of last year at London Comic-Con, a large-scale LEGO® Big Build of the magical Ford Anglia from the Harry Potter films, was on display at ExCel. If you didn’t attend the event then you can check out the build being created, thanks to a recently published behind the scenes video. This life-sized build was made from over 500,000 elements and took LEGO Master Builders over 920 hours to design and build. It was displayed against a huge brick-built display of a Whomping Willow. This isn’t the first time the flying Ford Anglia has appeared in LEGO form, you can find a Minifigure-scale version in set 75953: Hogwarts Whomping Willow.

  1. The Ford was also on display for a few days in the Lego store in Leicester Square. It was pretty cool and really did look like the one from the Whomping Willow set.
