LEGO Big Builds: Batman 80th Anniversary

With San Diego Comic-Con nearly upon us, LEGO® have revealed another LEGO Big Build, which will debut at the event, later this week. This years marks the 8th anniversary of DC Comics Batman, and to celebrate Master Model Builders have created a life-sized version of the Dark Knight. Standing at 6.5ft tall, the brick-built Batman is made of 44,051 bricks and took 270 hours to build. But that’s not all, accompanying Batman is brick-built mural of the Detective Comics #1,000 variant comic book cover. This is made from 97,768 pieces and is over 10ft tall. Both will be on show at Comic-con, where Batfans will also be able to purchase an exclusive 80th anniversary LEGO Batman set and have to chance to win an exclusive Zebra Batman Minifigure.
