The LEGO Group returns to Pride in London this Saturday, 2nd July to celebrate inclusivity and self-expression in the LGBTQIA+ community with its stand in the family area. The LEGO Group’s stand will be located in the family area in St Giles Church Yard, Soho and opens from 12 noon and will feature various fun LEGO building activities for families to enjoy, such as leaving a message on the LEGO® DOTS wall and contributing to a miniature Pride parade!
The stand has been developed with UK-based charity Diversity Role Models, a partner of the LEGO Group, which works to help children learn about the importance of inclusion and empathy for all and embed it in future generations.
It will also bring to life the ‘A-Z of Awesome’, an ongoing campaign the LEGO Group launched last month, with the aim of helping LGBTQIA+ families use play to help have open and meaningful conversations about their identities. The alphabet aims to build understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community and the different abbreviations used. Learn more about the A-z of Awesome here.
