Help Build A Super Sized LEGO Saturn V

This upcoming weekend the National Space Centre in Leicester are set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Saturn 9 rocket. One of the activities taking place as part of the attractions ‘Gumdrop Sunday’ event will be a live build of a huge Saturn V rocket. Budding builders are invited to help the Space Centre create a 1/32 scale LEGO® Saturn V model over the weekend. At nearly 4m high, the structure will be one of the largest Saturn V models ever created and will go on display in the Space Oddities: Apollo 50 exhibition for the Easter period. It’s also a great precursor to the Space Centres annual Brickish Weekend event which takes place on March 16th and 17th. Learn more about the Brickish Weekend here.
