Celebrating 10 Years Of LEGO Idea At LEGO House

As well as celebrating 60 years of the bricks and 40 years of the minifigure, 2018 also marks 10 years of crowdsourcing LEGO® fan creations. Beginning life as LEGO Cuusoo in 2008 before becoming LEGO ideas. The platform has been the starting point for a number of impressive builds, some which have made it stores and many which haven’t. To mark this milestone the LEGO House in Billund, are showcasing a number of builds which have managed to achieve 10,000 supporters over the years. Although they haven’t become actual LEGO products, the projects on show are still wonderful builds. You can take this unique opportunity to see them in person at the special LEGO Ideas exhibition on display in the LEGO House until October 8th.

To celebrate 10 years of crowdsourcing and collaboration between LEGO® and LEGO fans around the world, we’re proud to display a selection of the incredible fan-designed models that have been a part of this creative journey through the years.

Each of these fan-created models have achieved the impressive milestone of gathering 10,000 votes and have as a result been considered as potential official LEGO Ideas sets.

We are showcasing a small selection of the work of our dedicated and talented fans with diverse backgrounds representing 11 countries.
