The Art of the Brick exhibition is making a return to the UK, with a run at the Great Northern Warehouse in Manchester. The acclaimed art show, which uses LEGO® bricks to create models and artwork, opens this Friday and runs through until April 2020. THE ART OF THE BRICK, BY NATHAN SAWAYA, MAKES ITS MANCHESTER DEBUT
The Art of the Brick®, a globally renowned touring exhibition, taking up residency at the Great Northern Warehouse from November 2019 – April 2020
More than 75 pieces of art will feature at the exhibition, which opens its doors on Friday 22nd November, as award-winning artist Nathan Sawaya showcases stunning sculptures made up of more than a million iconic LEGO® bricks, masterfully positioned with artistic skill.
Heralded by CNN as a global “must-see exhibition”, The Art of the Brick returns to the UK, and makes its Manchester debut at the Great Northern, after five years touring around the world. The exhibition focuses exclusively on the use of LEGO® bricks as an art form, with Los Angeles-based artist Nathan Sawaya creating pieces of art ranging from 3D sculptures to oversized portraits.
Popular pieces include My Boy, Dinosaur and captivating recreations of iconic art, including the Mona Lisa. Never-before-seen in the UK pieces will also debut at the exhibition.

This is the first time the Exhibition has visited the UK in many years and we’re sure art fans and Lego lovers alike will pour into the city in order to check out these unique pieces.”
Prices start from £9.50 for children, £14.50 for adults, concessions at £12.00, and a family of four ticket priced at £42.00. The Art of the Brick will be based at Unit 5, Great Northern Warehouse, 235 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4EN.
