This February both LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres at Manchester and Birmingham will be hosting AFOL Night events on the same day. Both ventures have been running AFOL Nights for a while, but they often fall on different days. So On February 13th, AFOLs will have to the chance to visit either of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, without the need to bring a kid. The Birmingham event take place between 5pm – 8pm with tickets costing £15 per person and 7pm – 9pm at Manchester with tickets costing £12 per person. Manchester are also sprinkling a little love on their event, as it falls just before Valentine’s Day.

AFOL Valentine’s night at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester
Calling all ADULT fans of LEGO®! We’re hosting an AWESOME alternative Valentine’s night! Come along on Wednesday the 13th February at 7pm and share your LEGO Love with likeminded people, and for the singles…maybe find your missing piece!
The event is not exclusive to singles, anyone who loves LEGO is welcome to attend and mingle – there’ll be all the usual fun for regulars at AFOL nights! But to help the singles spot their potential future Mr or Mrs Brick, there will be a traffic light style Lego block badge system to identify the possibility for love.
Are you single but not a big LEGO fan? Come along anyway! This HAS to be more fun than your average singles night, right?
So what’s to lose? If you don’t find the person of your dreams, you can always make them!
What to expect:
- Full (adult only) access to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre’s rides cinema, attractions and bricks.
- Chocolate on arrival.
- Take a moonlit walk through MINILAND – a world of North West attractions in miniature LEGO form.
- Meet the Master Model Builders and take part in their LEGO workshops.
- Take part in speed dating – on the rides!
- Make LEGO hearts and flowers (or a dinosaur if you prefer – whatever!)
- Meet other LEGO enthusiasts and share stories, fun and laughs.

Join the fun as the big kids get a turn to explore Birmingham’s newest attraction. Experience the 4D Cinema, rides, and LEGO® brick pits before testing your skills at the speed build challenges or MINILAND® scavenger hunt!
There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs for several build challenges to be held throughout the night, while the Master Model Builders will be hosting workshop classes, providing tips and tricks for the LEGO® pros and novices.
