It may not have seemed like a news-filled week, but it’s certainly been an important one. There have been two significant announcements both of which will have a far-reaching impact on the future of the LEGO® brand. As with most news, there’s been some good and bad. First, was the news that LEGO MINDSTORMS is to be discontinued, many LEGO fans and organisations have used the popular platform to create advanced, working models which blend the creativity of LEGO and the power of coding. On the flip side, LEGO Friends will be getting a fresh new look in 2023 and it will fully embrace diversity. I’m sure we’ll be getting even more new LEGO reveals soon. Until, then have a happy Halloween.
