Following the LEGO® Friends announcement this morning, here’s a look at the first new sets to feature the new characters. These will also be the first sets to feature the new look logo and box design. The new range of sets will continue to include a wider cast of characters from Heartlake City along with the new main characters. Although a new chapter for LEGO Friends will begin in 2023, its history will continue as the original characters will pop up in sets every now and then. The all-new LEGO Friends range will be available in early January 2023. You can learn more about the new LEGO Friends characters here.

Super stuff and I’m not even a fan of the Friends theme!
The new branding is very “now” and I like the new characters. Even Matthew Ashton has hinted at characters coming in the future with different characteristics, including the possibility of one with Autism.
I hope these can translate into LEGO System. It would be great to see more representative Minifigures in the BAM, Minifugure Factory and regular sets. And, fingers crossed the heads from the new table football set become more widely available too?
