Over in Skærbæk, Denmark hundreds of AFOLs from across the globe are enjoying a weekend filled with LEGO fun. The event began in 2005 when the LEGO® Group started a small get together with some AFOLs, known as the LEGO Fan Weekend. As the years have gone by its developed and grown to become a premier event in every LEGO fans calendar. Although the event is no longer hosted by LEGO, it was reborn in 2015 as the Skærbæk Fan Weekend.
Fans from all over the world come together in Skærbæk and share their passion for the brick, by showing off their amazing MOCs, taking part in discussions and genuinely have a great time with fellow LEGO builders and members of the public. Although Team BricksFanz has yet to experience this fun event, are chums over at Stackable Event have been kind enough to send us a few shots from the first day of the Fan Weekend.
