One year since the LEGO Group announced a new partnership with Formula 1, LEGO bricks played a big role in the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix. As part of the first-ever F1 ACADEMY weekend at the Las Vegas race, podium finishers of both Race 1 and Race 2 were presented with custom LEGO Botanicals Bouquets. Each bouquet has been built out of close to 2,000 LEGO elements and weighs close to 1 kg. This follows the life-sized LEGO F1 race cars driven during the Miami Grand Prix and unique brick-built LEGO trophies presented at the British Grand Prix. Although the 2025 F1 Season will soon be coming to a close, the partnership between F1 and the LEGO Group will continue into 2026. There will be two new Speed Champions sets, one based on the fictional team from the F1 movie and an F1 ACADEMY set inspired by the new Team LEGO car. It’s possible we could also see Disney and Sonic F1 sets.
