75317: Mandalorian Starfighter Set Review
Ever since the famed Bounty Hunter Boba Fett first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, he has fascinated generations. Over the years his story has been expanded upon, with the Fett clan being an integral part of Star Wars lore. Fast forward and many years later it would be another Bounty Hunter who once again sparks a fascination with the Mandalorians. This newfound love of Mandalore has also inspired the LEGO® Star Wars Design Team,...
10773: Minnie Mouse’s Ice Cream Shop Set Review
As I conclude my series of reviews of the new LEGO® Disney Mickey & Friends set, the final set I’m taking a look at is the only one to not include Mickey. This set is one for the girls, with Minnie and Daisy on hand to enjoy an ice cream or two. The Ice Cream Shop set is interesting for a few reasons, it has two unique Minifigure, some material pieces and a number of rare or printed pieces elements. So for my final LEGO...
10772: Mickey Mouse’s Propeller Plane Set Review
One of the smallest of the new LEGO® Mickey and Friends sets is Mickey’s Propeller Plane. As with all the 4+ sets, it includes a few unique and printed pieces. Plus being a Disney set, you’re also treated to another exclusive Minifigure, not found in any other set. But does such a small set offer the same level of excitement as the others in the range? Let’s find out in my review of set 10772: Mickey’s...
10282: LEGO Adidas Originals Superstar Set Review
Last year the LEGO Group partnered with Adidas to create an extremely hard-to-find trainer as part of the ZX range. Since then the partnership has resulted in a number of clothing and footwear releases. The most recent of which were the LEGO Colours Trainers and the VIDIYO clothing range for kids. So far the partnership has been pretty one-sided, that is until now. The recently revealed LEGO Adidas Originals Superstar set is the...
10774: Mickey & Minnie Mouse’s Space Rocket Review
So far Mickey and his chums have dabbled in firefighting and farming, but their next adventure is a little more cosmic. Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s Space Rocket set includes a couple more unique Disney Minifigures and a collection of rather interesting elements including some great printed pieces. So how does this spacetastic shape up? Here’s the third in my series of reviews focused on the new LEGO Disney Mickey &...
10775: Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck’s Farm Set Review
Old MacDonald may have had a farm but he didn’t have the first-ever LEGO® System Sheep. My reviews of the brand new LEGO Disney Mickey & Friends theme continues, with possibly the most anticipated of the five sets. The excitement for this particular set spans beyond the Minifigures and is focused on one of the animal figures included in the set. But the set is far more than just a sheep, so here’s a closer look at set...
10776: Mickey & Friends Fire Truck & Station Review
If there is one LEGO® theme that can inspire LEGO fans of all ages it has to be Disney. This Summer a brand new sub-theme has been introduced called Mickey & Friends. It includes five easy-to-build 4+ sets, but don’t be fooled by the age range, these new sets have AFOLs far more excited than the kids. The LEGO Group have kindly provided the sets to take a closer look at and my reviews begin with the largest of the sets, the...
