31322: LEGO Ideas The Globe Set Review
The LEGO® Ideas theme reaches an important milestone as it gets ready to welcome its 40th set. Across the past 39 sets, LEGO Ideas has gone from a series of predictable sets, limited by pricing and piece count to wildcard which could literally turn any idea into the next must-have LEGO set. This has certainly been the case with such sets as The Maze, Ship in a Bottle and the Typewriter. But the set I’m taking a closer look at...

Regardless of how they are marketed, 4+ sets have been the source of some unique licenses and in turn some often unique characters. After The Incredibles, Toy Story and Mickey & Friends it’s the turn of Marvel and the Disney Junior series, Spidey and...

Back in the ’80s gaming was a newly emerging pastime, Atari and Nintendo consoles were taking living rooms by storm whilst SEGA commanded the arcades. But by the ’90s SEGA wanted a bigger slice of the home console market and they needed something to face off against the might of Mario. That something was actually someone and in 1991 Sonic the Hedgehog was born. The blue blur became a gaming icon, starring in a number of...
60324: LEGO City Mobile Crane Set Review
Each year as the new sets are slowly revealed, either official or not, I decide what I wouldn’t mind buying. Sometimes new parts or Minifigures play a role in my decisions. Then I see a retailer selling sets early and end up buying stuff I hadn’t planned to. I have to admit that’s the case with this set. However, after building it, I’m glad I picked it up as it’s a fun build and it has plenty of play...
