This past week has seen the two new LEGO® sets released through VIP Early Access and no sooner had they become available than plenty of new sets have been revealed. But the big news this week has been the change of packaging for the LEGO Minifigures range. From 2023, these collectable characters will no longer come in foil packets, with the packaging being switched to recyclable boxes. Thus meaning the ability to feel them will be no more. On the surface, the switch is good for the environment but not so good for the bank balance. The other big news was the closure of the Leicester Square store, it’s now completely closed and will be reopened in August, where it will retake the crown as the largest LEGO store in the world.
