The big LEGO® news this week, is the announcement of a brand new theme being introduced in 2026 inspired by Pokémon. The smash hit game franchise will celebrate it’s 30th anniversary with a series of sets featuring everyone’s favourite pocket monsters. It’s probably one of the most important link ups the LEGO Group have had, that includes Star Wars. Pokémon has a unique ability to capture the imaginations of multiple generations. Budding trainers from Generation One are introducing their kids to Pokémon and the cycle continues. The upcoming LEGO sets will have a multitude of source material to choose from including several games, a trading card series and animated adventures.
