BricksFanz Weekly LEGO Recap July 6th – 12th

Another week has slipped by, one filled with excessive heat and football glory here in the UK, at least. It’s also been a week of new LEGO set reveals with three new Icons sets and a third wave of LEGO Pokémon models. The new Pokémon sets have caused a ripple of excitiment has they feature the first-ever Pokémon minifigures. But the most interesting reveal was the Icons Mayor Manor set, which will kick off an ongoing Halloween-themed series similar to the Winter Village Collection. Instead of festive builds, the Midnight Valley Collection will feature spooky builds.

A couple of bits of BricksFanz housekeeping now. I’m testing out how I share content on Facebook. Instead of just sharing a link to articles, they will now be shared as images with comments to the relevant story in the comments. It seems Facebook want to limit the reach of external links, and they are trying to charge for sharing more than two links a month. I’m also set to have an operation next week, so news and reviews may stop for a few days as I recover. Running a website on your own isn’t easy, and as it’s just me, I have no one to take the reins if I’m out of action. Hopefully, I’ll see you on the other side.
