The big news this week has been the official reveal of the next major evolution of the LEGO Brick – LEGO Smart Play. The new Smart Play System will see a technology-packed brick interact with its surroundings, including other elements and how it’s played with. As with all LEGO announcements, there’s been a mix of interest and dismay, especially since the initial sets will only be released in six regions. I think it looks interesting, and the possibilities are immense, but without seeing the sets in person, it’s hard to say either way.
