What’s Happened To LEGO Designer Videos?

It’s been over 120 days since we last got treated to a LEGO® Designer Video. During that time some pretty big sets have been released. None of which have had the usual designer lead video, telling the story of the creation of the set and some of the details they contain. So what’s happened to them? Have they been canned for good? Taking a unusual break? Could they return as part of the possible LEGO subscription service? Whatever has happened to them, they were an important part of a set’s release, giving a proper look at a set. Images are great but don’t always offer a sense of scale or show off the functions of the set. But the main thing LEGO Designer Videos do is give members of the LEGO Design Team their moment in the spotlight.
