The new series of LEGO® Minifigures are officially launched on April 1st but many UK retailers are already selling them. After TESCO jumped the gun last week and started to put them out in a number of their stores, Smyths Toys followed suit and WHSmith stores also gave the go ahead to sell them yesterday. Although their availability in TESCO and Smyths seems a little spotty at the moment, you should find them in almost all WHSmith stores, including many of their travel stores located at train stations, airports and hospitals. The 18 series has a party vibe about it to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the LEGO Minifigure, it’s a fantastic series but one particular character is causing mass hysteria. The Classic Policeman can only be found once per box of Series 18: Party minifigures and so people are the hunt for the rare little fellow, partly to complete to their collection and sadly in some cases to make a quick buck or two.
