Rebuild The World – A Festive Rocket Ride

Inspired by the LEGO® Rebuild the World campaign, I initially had the idea for this creation last year. However, with working, covering all the latest LEGO news and building sets to review, I have found little time to build anything of my own creation – that was until now. So the idea was to rebuild something Christmasy into something else. One of the many symbols of the festive season is the Christmas Tree. Which just so happens to have a ‘rockety’ vibe about it. The result is a sweet new ride for Santa – the Festive Pine Rocket. The base of this MOC is set 40338: Christmas Tree, which was a gift with purchase set last year. Then I rebuilt it into what you can see below. A tree x rocket ride, perfect for Santa to blast around, delivering presents in.

It’s far from as amazing as some of the MOCs I see so many wonderful LEGO fans creating. But it was a fun thing to do anyway and I’m pleased with the result. Don’t forget you can share your own Rebuild the World creations using #RebuildTheWorld and if you build something festive, use #BuildToGive to help spread some LEGO love, as each creation shared with that hashtag will see a LEGO set donated to those who need them most.
