As a LEGO® fan, you’ll already have a soft spot for the Danish toymaker. But beyond the amazing toys they create, customer service they provide or sustainability initiatives they support, they also look after their workforce. They already give employees a special set at Christmas and get everyone together for Play Days, now they will also offer their entire workforce even more perks. By 2022, all LEGO employees will be able to take up to 26 weeks paid leave for new parents to look after the newborns or for those who provide care to loved ones. They will also offer life insurance and disability insurance, providing much-needed support beyond their working life. Traning will also be stepped up to improve diversity and communication. Although this news is irrelevant beyond LEGO employees, it does show what sort of company the LEGO Group is.
