A popular fan theory of a connection between NINJAGO and the long-retired LEGO® Legends of CHIMA theme has been confirmed. Ever since the Dragons Rising story was introduced, fans have wondered if the wolf-like Lord Ras was from the land of Chima. The much-loved theme was introduced as a replacement for NINJAGO and featured a cast of animal-based characters. In the latest clip from the second season of Dragons Rising, Lord Ras is trekking through the jungle with Jordana and mentions some locations from his homeland, including the Forever Rock. This confirms that Ras is from Chima and the two popular themes/shows are connected. Although it doesn’t in any way suggest the theme is making a comeback.
