As LEGO® Sonic the Hedgehog sets prepare to hit stores later this Summer, the LEGO loving at SEGA continues with Sonic’s upcoming new game. Announced during Summer Game Fest, Sonic Superstars is a new 2D Sonic adventure which is inspired by the original Sonic games. A set of pre-order goodies have been revealed and they include a LEGO Eggman (he’ll always be Dr Robotnik to me) in-game character skin. This will transform Sonic’s robot-loving foe into his LEGO counterpart. Sonic Superstars is expected to be released towards the end of 2023. The new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets which feature the physical version of Dr Eggman, arrive on August 1st. Expect more LEGO Sonic news during Sonic Central this Friday.
