It appears a new LEGO® Store experience is being piloted in some stores. The LEGO Tile Studio pilot allows you to create custom printed tiles that can be designed in stores. It seems to be a very similar service to the Minifigure Factory, which is now available in quite a few LEGO stores. Instagram user Donstuff has shared their experience of the pilot from the Amstrdam store. A LEGO Tile Studio pack costs €7,99 and features 3 LEGO tiles – 1 x basic 1×4 tile with your name and 2 x customised 2×4 or 1×4 tiles. These can be customised with predesigned backgrounds, custom drawings, stickers and text. This is currently being piloted and isn’t available in all LEGO Store locations, but if successful, look out for it in the future.
