Merlin Entertainment has revealed details of a new addition to LEGOLAND® Florida, in partnership with Hasbro! This will see a Peppa Pig Land added to the LEGOLAND Park. Now this will not see LEGO Peppa Pig LEGO® sets or anything like that, but it will see the characters from Peppa Pig inspired a new theme park at LEGOLAND Florida. No, I don’t get it either, yes Peppa Pig is a popular character, who is now owned by Hasbro after they purchased Entertainment One, but I don’t see why a theme park based on the character needs to be placed in a LEGOLAND park. LEGOLAND owner Merlin Entertainment was recently acquired by the parent company of the LEGO Group. So this news will see the LEGO Group indirectly work with rival toymaker Hasbro. Learn more here.
