Both of the UK LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres are set to celebrate the heroic work the emergency services do with an upcoming themed event at both locations. Those everyday heroes inspire many of the sets featured in the LEGO City theme. Both events will have similar activities including minifigures to find in Miniland, Make & Takes, character greets and more. Blue Light cardholders can also get discounted tickets to these LEGOLAND Discovery Centre events, details can be found on the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre websites. The LEGO Legends event begins on May 21st and will run until June 2nd.
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres in Birmingham and Manchester are celebrating the awesome work the country’s emergency services teams do on a daily basis with a hero-themed event this month. The LEGO Legends activities include:
- Find the heroes in MINILAND, how many can you spot?
- Fly to the rescue – Build an emergency service vehicle and race it down the zipwire.
- Hero build competition – What will you build? A lifeboat? A nurse? Maybe a police car!
- Join us for our emergency services themed pop-up dance party.
- Make a MINIFIGURE policeman and take them home!
- Play Bingo Legends! Get a full house and win a prize!
- Meet and greet with our awesome LEGO characters
- Collect 3 new Pop Badges
- Check out LEGO City short film: An Officer in Pursuit in our 4D cinema.
Plus, as part of the entry into the LEGO Legends event guests can go on to enjoy everything else within the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre including two awesome rides, loads of LEGO play zones, LEGO city and Duplo soft play and much much more.
