Earlier this year ROOM Copenhagen revealed some new additions to their LEGO® branded homeware range. These included a new LEGO Studs Wall Hanger Rack Set. As with many of their products, this features oversized LEGO elements to create unique looking goodies to jazz up your home. But is this minimalist looking wall hanger worthy of holding your coats, let’s take a closer look in mini-review of the bright colour LEGO Wall Hanger Rack.

ROOM has been creating oversized versions of LEGO elements for a number of years now. These have been crafted into various homeware products, mainly focused around storage. In recent years these have branched out to include different homeware solutions, with single LEGO elements being used as the basis for magnets and wall hooks. Now they have been incorporated into a Wall Hanger Rack, which is a fancy name for a coat rack.
Three different coloured LEGO 1×1 studs are mounted on a rectangular plate, on the back you’ll find two holes, which allow the rack to be mounted upon a couple of screws. Obviously oversized LEGO studs aren’t the best thing to coats up by their hooks, so you may find the use of coat hangers to be a better solution. But to be fair these sort of things are best used as cool LEGO room decorations. They are well made and sturdy, plus look exactly like blown-up versions of actual LEGO elements. As well as the colours shown here, you can also get a pastel version and a greyscale one as well. But to be honest the bright version feels more traditional.
