The LEGO® Super Mario Piranha Plant set has been revealed today. The buildable model recreates the iconic pipe-dwelling foliage which loves to take a bite out of Mario and his Mushroom Kingdom chums. The set is similar to the larger-scale Mario sets such as the NES, Question Block Cube and Mighty Bowser as opposed to the buildable courses offered by the various Expansion Sets. Although the Piranha Plant doesn’t seem as complex as those larger-scale Mario sets and doesn’t feature any digital functions. The 540-piece set will be released on November 6th with an RRP of £57.99/$59.99/64.99€.

Billund – September 21st, 2023: Today, the LEGO Group revealed the brick-built Piranha Plant, the latest addition to the expanding LEGO® Super Mario™ theme for Adults, in partnership with Nintendo. The new building set is a fun re-creation of the iconic plant from Super Mario™ video games.
Built from over 500 pieces, the LEGO® Super Mario™ Piranha Plant is a detailed and posable set. It allows LEGO and Super Mario fans alike to move the head, mouth, stalk and leaves to create new and exciting poses. In addition, the building experience of the set allows you to create from the bottom up, so the Piranha Plant emerges as if it’s growing out of the pipe.
