LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Delayed Again

It’s been officially announced that LEGO® Star Wars The Skywalker Saga has been delayed yet again. The latest LEGO videogame to come from TT Games was meant to arrive in 2020, before being pushed into Spring 2021. But the developer has put out a short statement to reveal the Spring date will not be met. No further details have been offered including any sort of future timeframe, but it seems a combination of starting afresh with a new engine, new platforms to develop for and COVID-19 has hit TT Games harder than most. Although this continued delay cannot be helped, it has a knock-on effect with physical LEGO products carrying codes for in-game content could no longer be available once the game ships and it also means consoles have lacked any major LEGO titles, including remasters for well over a year. Thankfully LEGO Games have suggested they are expanding the partnerships beyond traditional routes, which could see console titles come from others outside of TT Games.
